What I know about it:

The Measures of Central Tendancy are Mean,Median,Mode,and Range. To find the mean you have to add all of the numbers up then you have to divide by how many numers you added up. To find the median you have to put the set of numbers in order then play knock out with them. to find the mode all you have to do is look in the set of data and see which number occurs the most (there can be more then 1 mode). To find the range all you have to do is subtract the smallest number in the data by the largest number in the data.
To find the mean, you have to add all of the numbers together and then divide that by however many numbers there are. To get the median you can put all of the numbers in order and play knock-out until you get to the middle number. If you have 2 numbers, you would find the number that is inbetween the 2 numbers.To get the mode you find the number that occurs most often. And then to the the range you would take the highest number and the lowest number and the subtract the lowest number from the highest number.

example of that is:
22,23,33,34,44,55,56,69,96,212
mode=none because the numbers occur the same amount of time.
range=190
mean=64.4
median=49.5
Outlier=212

I know that outliers affect the mean .

How I remember it:

Mean means average, Median means middle number,Mode is the number that occurs most often and Range is the largest number subtracted by the lowest number.

I remember the mean or average by thinking that its mean to have to add up all those numbers.
I can always remember what the median means because the median in the road marks the middle.
I always remember that median sounds like middle c:
